I graduated from Plymouth University in September 2011 with a 2:1 in Multimedia Production and Technology. I chose this degree because of my interest in finding innovative and creative methods to tackle existing problems and to ultimately fill voids in the vastly diverse market of today. Studying this degree has enabled me to decipher clients' desires with originality and innovation. This is demonstrated throughout my three-year period studying at university alongside the scope, and content of projects and campaigns I have run both as a sabbatical officer and at OMD.

Snowriders Charity Event

During my time as snowboard captain of snowriders (Plymouth University's biggest sports club) I arranged a charity rugby game between the University surf club and ourselves. It was a well-attended event with a full double deck bus of supporters coming along. We managed to raise over £200 for the selected charity, "What Just Happened?." This is a charity started by a collegue I worked with behind the student union bar, after she was diagnosed with cancer. It supports others in the awful period of time when they have just been diagnosed with cancer but yet to start their treatment.

Quote from founder of What just happened?

"Thank you so much for raising money for what just happened? I will make sure it is used in the best possible way! Your generosity is much appreciated! Please can you tell all involved that there effort s are appreciated! Cheers x"

The snowrider v surf club rugby match has now become an annual event at Plymouth University.
